Every day I get the opportunity to make new contacts in the business world and enhance my understanding of how a number of well-known firms in different industries operate. This kind of exposure is invaluable and would be difficult to replicate anywhere else.

I was attracted to PwC because of their standing among the Big 4 and their investment in recruiting University Graduates. PwC is an assurance leader within New Zealand and having the ability to be able to work for the firm straight out of University was a great opportunity to start my career.

The people are definitely the highlight of working at PwC. The nature of Assurance means you will find yourself working in a number of different teams and have the ability to work closely with a wide range of people. There’s also a great social and extra-curricular environment where you have the opportunity to make strong friendships with your peers through involvement in your day-to-day work, functions, and sporting teams.

The PwC culture for me promotes a sense of self-achievement and drive. You’re surrounded by people who are talented, hard-working, and passionate about the work they do; which really feeds into the culture. There’s a strong coaching environment where you’re given tools and support to help you succeed in whatever you choose to do.

The nature of the work we do at PwC means you’ll be working in a team-oriented environment. So be yourself as it’s important that we get to know the real person behind the application – the real you.
