We’re given opportunities to work with clients of all sizes both in New Zealand and globally. The work is both challenging and engaging and I am forever learning new things.
One of the things that attracted me to PwC was its’ reputation as a global leader in the professional services industry. Through the interview process what stood out to me about PwC was the people and how passionate they were about what they do and the firm. The diversity of work that PwC offers is another attractive feature. With lots of variety in the clients that PwC work with, there is something for everyone.
I really enjoy the diversity in the work we do in Financial Advisory Services. We’re given opportunities to work with clients of all sizes both in New Zealand and globally. The work is both challenging and engaging and I am forever learning new things. PwC has provided me with the opportunity to complete my Chartered Accountancy in a flexible and supportive environment. The flexitime schedule is great allowing us to work from home or choose the hours that suit us with a late start or early finish and make up the time elsewhere.
What I love about working at PwC is that there are so many different opportunities available for staff and teams to get involved in. The firm has its own foundation and gives us the opportunity to give back to the community through volunteer days and the FLiP programme (financial literacy in schools program). We have a great culture and team who not only work together but also socialise through various team building activities and with lunches and drinks most Fridays.
In a single word I would describe the PwC culture as inclusive. There is something for everyone here and we have a great team who enjoy their work and love working together. Wherever you work it’s the people that make the job enjoyable and PwC has incredible people.
I would advise future Graduates or interns to make the most of their opportunity. Ask lots of questions and utilise the extensive network and resources the firm provides you with.
