The 12 months I’ve spent at PwC have been an awesome learning experience, which I would do again in a heartbeat. Plus the extra perks such as travelling for work doesn’t hurt!

As a fresh University graduate without any prior Internship experience, it was reassuring to be surrounded by amazing people at PwC.

You have a peer group that start at the same time as you do, and it’s this bunch of people who’ll be there for all of your trainings and social events. We recently even sat our first Chartered Accountancy exam together. Outside your peer group, there’s no shortage of people you lean on, whether that be other colleagues within your team or coaching managers who very quickly become your supporters.

PwC have been very flexible in catering to the work that I wanted to do, which is why I had the opportunity to work in both Risk Assurance and Financial Assurance. There’s a lot to learn from both areas of the firm, working with different teams across a wide range of the industry’s best clients.

In Risk Assurance, we look at the risks each client faces and the controls they have in place to mitigate these risks. Working on the same clients in Financial Assurance meant I could see how the controls and systems eventually tie through to the Financial Statements that we audit.
